Using
centrifugation broken or unincubated eggs provide eggshells and
also a residual liquid known as the technical albumen. Ovoconcept
offer upgrading procedures for these by-products.
For
eggshells from hatcheries and breakers two techniques may be implemented:
- sanitisation using a thermal process used to obtain carbonates
destined for use in animal nutrition,
- sanitisation by a lime-based mixture for the manufacture of soil
improvers.
