To secure the health quality and improve the storage of eggs and egg products, Ovoconcept has developed two shell hygienisation techniques:

- washing and disinfection in hot water, followed by rinsing and drying

- treatment by ultra-violet system

On liquid egg production lines, these two techniques can be coordinated to ensure control of the pathogenic flora, and thus avoid any risk of contamination of the liquid with shell debris
